In another 2 decades, the kitchen may not be an essential part of your house. With couples working for more than 10 hours a day, attending luncheons and discussing business over dinner, and with children sent off to schools or day care, soon the kitchen could become a redundant unit altogether! Weekends will be devoted to family outings, where lunch and dinner will be the norm. So where’s the need for a kitchen? Your house will have only guest rooms, toilets and bathrooms, a living room, bedrooms and TV room! Or better still packet foods will have a plug and eat system where in you heat the food directly and eat.
