I'd rather have None Of The Above, but we don't have that option.

Nope, won't happen guys, sorry. As much as you want it to, the Dems are just too foolish to pull it off. Their only hope for a win is to nominate someone with one hell of a track record of success, otherwise, say hello to another 4-8 years of the GOP in control.

If you reeeeally think Obama will win, you are just wasting your time and energy with wishful thinking.

Besides.. all of our politicians are liars anyway. Thats why we need to replace them all with people who actually know what they want, and don't use cheating, lying and stealing as ways to get it.

Obama would be a very short temporary solution to a VERY dangerous and longterm problem.

The real question you guys should be asking yourselves is: What happens if by some miracle Obama wins, but doesn't change a damn thing for the better?? Would you risk looking like a bunch of idiots again!?

Obama hasn't had any major achievements in a long long time. The only reason people really like him is because they have this false perception that all Republicans are bad. Listen, just because one administration didn't live up to expectations doesn't mean they all stink. Clinton left us hanging, and before 9/11 people liked Bush.. a lot. (aside for the obvious bullshit that happened in Florida's recount)

Whatever.. pointless to argue about this stuff.

He deserves to be president?

Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much. From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan. 143 days -- I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.

In contrast, John McCain's 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride.

Think about IT!

He'll win, but not by a landslide, rather a hairsbreadth.

molly ruggles7/28/2008 8:23:46 AM

It is because of McCains history as a POW that scares me to have him at the helm..all the repressed anger there to be projected out.

For world peace, he needs to be the winner.
